How can I add the option to boot to Windows safe mode and other repair options as Windows 10 is starting up?

To add the option to go into repasir modes each time Windows is strarting perform the following:-

From an elevated command prompt type the following:

  1. bcdedit /enum /v
  2. Press enter and copy the identifier from the boot loader section and type the following:
  3. bcdedit /copy
  4. Leave a space after copy and then paste the identifier with brackets included. Leave another space after the identifier and then type
  5. /d "Windows Safe Mode with Networking"
  6. Press enter.

Now type 'System Configuration' into search and open it and go to system configuration to set the rest.

  1. Select the boot TAB
  2. Choose the line at the top that you just created. Eg 'Windos safe mode with networking.'
  3. Click the 'safe boot' option at the bottom.
  4. Click the 'Network' option at the bottom.
  5. Change the 'Timeout' to 3 seconds.
  6. Tick 'Make all Boot Settings permanent.
  7. Click 'Apply'.
  8. Reboot your PC and you will notice the repair options will show for 3 seconds while booting.
